If you got up this morning and were able to live your life, you can consider yourself blessed. If you woke up in a comfortable bed, with a fluffy pillow and even know there are people to love you; you are blessed. If you have food to eat, a roof over your head and clothes to wear, you are definitely very blessed.
We are all blessed with things and it takes an effort to realize what we are blessed with. If you can’t see or forget your blessings, or even believe you are entitled to them, you may miss out on how happy your life really is.
Throughout the day, stop and think about what you are thankful for. Think about how your life might be without the things you take for granted. Remember what you have instead of what you want. The difference between being blessed and being spoiled is the feeling of satisfaction versus anger and resentment.
Each time you remember how blessed you are a smile will come to your face; a feeling of satisfaction will come into your heart and happiness will be with you throughout the day.
