Don’t let emotional anxiety stop you from saying how you feel. Tell people what you need without all the emotion. Describe your feelings and say the words without the drama.
People around you need to know what you are thinking. Those around you will respect you more when you stand your ground. Needs only get met when you communicate them. Uncork the bottle and let your emotions out first to yourself; than calmly use your words to tell people your needs.
When you approach a situational calmly, logically and without emotion, things go better and people don’t get spun up. Communicate, listen, and compromise; you will be amazed how much better you will feel about yourself and your life.
