Your child goes to school, you go to work. Think how stressed you are with deadlines, co-workers and a busy schedule. Kids have little to no idea how to cope with stress; they just don’t have the experience.
Even as adults, it is hard to cope with all that has to be done, and the people that can make a day even more difficult. Talk with your kids each day. See how their day went, and share your day with them. Give them some examples of how you dealt with your stress.
Each day all of us have hurdles to overcome. Sometimes kids feel alone in facing problems. Make sure your kids know that they are not alone, and that you are there, to set a good examples and help them problem solve.
